NIC YULO is a NYC-based author and writer-director with an M.F.A. from Columbia University’s Film Program.
Her work has received an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award, a Breaking Barriers Grant for Female Directors,
and an Adobe Design Achievement Award.
A New York Women in Film & Television Scholarship Awardee, her films have been featured at the Sloan Film Summit presented by Film Independent,
and a number of film festivals.
In 2019, she was named a Top 15 Semi-Finalist for SeriesFest's Women Directing Mentorship in partnership with Shondaland.
Nic's original teleplay Night Witches, chronicling an all-female teenage bomber pilot regiment active in WWII,
was selected for the Athena Film Festival LA TV & Screenwriting Lab and
named a Finalist for SeriesFest's Women Writing Competition in partnership with Kyra Sedgwick's Big Swing Productions.
She is a writer for Ubisoft's AAA game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint,
and its Terminator and Splinter Cell Live Crossover Events.
Nic's debut picture book, Patch of Sky, will be published by Dial Books for Young Readers, an imprint of
Penguin Random House, in the Spring of 2022.
